85岁的老母亲，在零下十几度的寒夜里，被四个亲生儿子轮流拒之门外，最终冻僵在儿子家门口的石凳上。她临终前一遍遍哭喊着儿子的乳名，可一墙之隔的四个儿子，却躺在暖烘烘的被窝里，假装没听见。 2014年大年初二的清晨，重庆万州北林村的村民，在村东头的大树下发现了早已冰冷僵硬的解昌英老人。她蜷缩在石凳上，口鼻处还残留着血迹，而她倒下的地方，正对着二儿子和三儿子的家门口。更让人心寒的是，整整一个上午，四个儿子没有一个上前查看，更没人愿意给母亲收尸，只有二女婿一个外人，跪在地上为岳母点了一炷香。 老人名叫解昌英，85岁的她一生养育了4个儿子和3个女儿。老伴去世后，老房子被大雨冲垮，她只能跟着四个儿子生活，兄弟四人约定，每人轮流照顾母亲一个月。可本该安享晚年的老人，却成了儿子们眼中的累赘。 农历大年初一，正是老四和老大交接母亲的日子。早上7点多，老四李秀武卷着母亲的铺盖，把她送到了老大家门口，可老大家的三层小楼大门紧锁，老大和儿媳根本不在家。老四本以为大哥只是临时外出，很快就会回来，便把母亲安置在老大家背阴处的一间破土屋门口，嘱咐她乖乖等着，自己则转身回了家，因为当天是岳母的生日，家里请了人杀猪摆宴，他没时间多等。 老人在寒风中等了整整两个小时，始终没等到大儿子回来。她拄着拐杖颤颤巍巍地走回四儿子家，希望能暂时得到一丝温暖，却被老四以“已经交接完毕”为由，拒之门外。被四儿子拒绝后，老人没有其他去处，只能朝着二儿子和三儿子家的方向走去，可当时老二和老三家里都没有人。 一位村民骑摩托车路过时，看到步履蹒跚的老人一边走一边哭，此时的她已经滴水未进、粒米未沾，在寒风中徘徊了六七个小时。傍晚6点左右，一位好心村民看到狼狈的老人，实在于心不忍，将她邀请进家里取暖，并递给了她一块沙琪玛。老人却推辞说：“你的娃娃还小，我都没拿东西给你，我还来吃你的东西。”说完便起身告辞，不想给别人添麻烦，她还抱着一丝希望，盼着儿子能收留自己。 当天晚上，大儿子和儿媳终于回到了家中，当他们看到门口老人的铺盖后，却丝毫没有要去寻找老人的意思，竟然选择了直接回屋睡觉。老人的弟弟气愤地说：“你家里养的猪养的牛，没在圈头，你也应该去找回来，何况还是你的母亲，八十几了，你为什么不去找啊？” 这时夜幕彻底降临，1月份的气温骤降至零下十几度，被冻得瑟瑟发抖的老人，再次来到二儿子和三儿子的院子前。或许是天黑路滑，老人在上台阶时不慎摔倒在地，导致内脏出血，她抹脸的时候，血蹭在了竹竿上。凭借着最后的求生本能，她挣扎着努力爬到了院门口，并声嘶力竭地呼喊着儿子们的乳名，求着儿子能救救妈妈。 当时住在一百米外耳背的村民，都听到了老人的呼救声，可一墙之隔的老二和老四却充耳不闻。在警方的审讯中，二儿子李秀奎承认听到了母亲的呼喊，却辩称“交接问题与我无关”；三儿子李秀丰则更是冷漠地说：“不该我管的我就没管。”几个儿媳甚至还抱怨，老人吵得他们一夜没睡好觉。 就这样，解昌英老人在刺骨的寒风中呼喊了一夜，直到声音逐渐微弱，最终倒在了冰冷的石凳上。村民们愤怒地说：“杀手，他们就是杀手！” 其实早在几年前，三个女儿就已经看不下去几个兄弟互相推诿的做法，主动提出接母亲到自己家赡养，女婿们也让出了带空调的房间。可四个儿子却为了面子，认为在农村里老人就该由儿子赡养，强行把母亲接了回去，还说“毕竟有儿子为什么要她养，我们农村不比城市，就是这个规矩嘛”。然而正是这种根深蒂固的偏见和自私自利的心态，一步步将解昌英老人推向了死亡的深渊。 解昌英老人的悲惨遭遇，激起了全村人的愤怒，村民们联名写了一封信，请求法院重判几个逆子。为了平息民愤，也为了弘扬孝道，法院直接将法庭搬到了北林村，公开审理了这起案件。庭审当天，现场挤满了愤怒的围观群众，法官当庭怒斥四个儿子：“那么寒冷的晚上，你们的母亲85岁高龄，在地上连爬带滚的时候，你们几个人怎么能在被窝里安逸地睡觉呢？” 最终，法院以遗弃罪作出判决：大儿子作为当月的赡养人，被判处有期徒刑两年；老四明知母亲陷入困境却拒不救助，被判处有期徒刑1年6个月。虽然法律给出了公正的裁决，却再也换不回老人的生命。或许老人在闭上眼睛时，心里充满了不解和悲凉，自己含辛茹苦养大的四个儿子，为何会变得如此冷漠。

Local police arrested her 38-year-old stepdad and 32-year-old mom for child cruelty. Her stepdad said it was a misunderstanding, explaining that he was "training the girl's muscles."
