Please look into this really dangerous bug in Codex [feedback submitted]. It deletes worktrees because it thinks the chat is no longer in progress. Happened on 2 different threads and both of them flagged their worktree was deleted.
Static analysis (lint, typecheck) can work against token efficiency as well when an expensive model spends time chasing those down in between their work.
slightly better approach: relax the rules so a cheaper flash model can clean those up and have the stronger model focus on the complex tasks.
how do you trust your agents' work more? copy this post/link and give it to your @bot or agent!
1. codebase improvements: this is just good software engineering - better architecture, stronger types and invariants, clear boundaries. agents love to copy what exists and take the
some people online are clowning that learning design patterns are no longer useful because AI writes all the code now and they are going to choose the best patterns; it is a false premise. by design AI operates on statistical patterns, and it can often make a decision that will be expensive to fix later on if you do not know how to correct it early on.
A better prompt won't fix a missing evidence workspace.
If the agent starts from a screenshot and a vibe, it will invent a plausible app.
If it starts from what actually shipped — routes, assets, requests, contracts — it has something to disagree with.
That is the whole thesis
Shipped software is not source code.
A working app can outlive its repository — vendor gone, hotfixes never committed, build that doesn't match production.
Ownership recovery starts by admitting those are different surfaces.

Still research-stage (early access / assessments / private alpha).
No public demos yet — on purpose.
Looking for design partners with real ownership or AI-refactor problems.
