Maybe we should be very optimistic about the Nuggets heading into next season. With a head coach who took over with just 10 games left and MPJ having one good shoulder, they still took this Thunder team to 7 games.

The Kings had two franchise caliber point guards, traded Tyrese despite him wanting to retire in SAC, saw him become one of the league’s best, traded Fox afterwards, and now need a PG. The Sabonis for Tyrese trade was questionable then and definitely bad now.

The 76ers getting Flagg would literally be the craziest outcome possible. Getting him means they can add him to a competitive squad and lengthen their title window, or they can package him in a deal to get a superstar while also dumping Paul George's deal. Win-win.

Does Jalen Brunson have a case for being the greatest Knick of all time with a title? He doesn’t have the longevity of Ewing, but Ewing never lifted a title in New York. Brunson also took a pay cut of millions to make this roster possible and has performed in the playoffs.

This is why team sports are harder than individual sports. Having a generational performance and being head and shoulders above the rest all but guarantees you a victory individually. On a team, you could still lose because one or two of your teammates had a stinker.
