Billions in settlements from North American countries have been paid to indigenous people/First Nations communities for crimes committed against them, along with cultural suppression over centuries! So surely Britain has to foot the bill?

@kdkilbane77 Has to Kevin . But will it get to that? Maybe not in my lifetime .
@kdkilbane77 That's not gonna happen. Eu funding is most likely. UK finding is pie in the sky stuff to be honest. No offence.
@kdkilbane77 Let’s discuss after RoI pays reparations for prolonging the Troubles.
@kdkilbane77 Looks like €20 billion needs to be spent on educating you alone.
@kdkilbane77 Get in line there Kev, the brits are waiting on reparations from the Romans, Vikings, Normans. 🤡
@kdkilbane77 Maybe the ROI governments could settle with NI Protestants and uk citizens for harbouring and abetting IRA terrorists for four decades, also the cultural suppression of southern Protestants.. that’s how it works in fairyland isn’t Kev?
@kdkilbane77 Comparing the experience of Irish people to that of indigenous people in America is next level ignorance.
@kdkilbane77 Ireland can afford it without UK etc. UK will still be liable for pensions and other costs. Deal will be done to extricate them over time. EU structural funds and other funds could reduce Ireland costs of unity. Investment would improve NI to reduce costs and increase growth.
@kdkilbane77 EU funds will be more important than USA. Ireland like Germany can afford unity anyway without them. But deal can be done with EU for longer term investment funds into NI to bring it up to Ireland levels. This reduces initial costs over time by increasing growth to pay for unity.
