this is the sad, harmful take of many well-meaning liberal people. Angela Davis, Naomi Murakawa, & others have shown us how reforms actually strengthen the systems they pretend to fix. they increase police legitimacy and distract from the true issues, all while being ineffective

A local police union sent a threatening letter to Councilman Josh Mandelbaum and all council members after he spoke out against the unjust arrests of BLM activists. We cannot allow our council to be intimidated into silence. Tell city council to release the letter to the public.
