Was recently asked to help design some simple renditions of various constellations in our night sky for an evening program at the Oregon Observatory, here is a small batch of the ones I made. Starting with the Ursa Major ( Big Dipper ), Draco, Cassiopeia, and Cepheus.

For this project I designed this simple little mascot character with no name to be a more playful part of the program. It was such a nice feeling to see kids enjoy this little guy, and they even gave him a name, say hello to Joe Cosmo!

Today I got to present my education program to a small class of students for a kids camp at the Oregon Observatory, it was exiting to see my work being viewed by the public and I was incredibly happy that the kids enjoyed some of the animated parts of the program.

Hopefully posting my work will become a habit from here on out, as I’ve been meaning to do it for a long… long time, anyhow, here is a fantasy constellation map I made for a world building exercise. Although not mentioned here I have written small blurbs on each constellation.
