Thanks to Dan for keeping the autism changes in the spotlight. I find it remarkable that the museum project caught the attention of so many journalists & pollsters while kids losing access to their basic, 1:1 health interventions have received a small fraction of the attention.

@UBCIC And, frankly, there is absolutely no rationale for this change in policy other than saving dollars. We can argue over the appropriateness of hubs, but the literature and existing practice overwhelmingly point to 1:1 intervention as the optimal, evidence-based form of treatment.

Thank you to @UBCIC for standing up for kids with developmental disabilities. Ending 1:1 intervention might save the BC government some dollars in the short run, but it will cost these children, their families, and government far more in the long run. #bcpoli
