I had a white friend. I liked him and I think he liked me, too. But then Pearl Harbor happened and whites became hostile and unpleasant. I am sure we didn’t do anything but they sent us to camps anyway. And now they don’t want to teach about this because it make kids feel bad.

A huge reminder that trying to weasel out of jury duty cause it's so inconvenient is no f*n joke.
What I absolutely do not want to hear today is that the justice system failed. It worked exactly as it intended to, and that's what we're up against.
Tomorrow, the Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee will consider federal CDC funding which will play a critical role in providing supplies, technical assistance, and increased staffing capacity necessary to help providers get vaccines to all that want them.
