Interesting how the foundational models (LLMs) rely on architectures that are considered black boxes. The detailed reasoning or decision processes that occur inside the model are not fully understandable or interpretable.

Reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) is used for fine-tuning the AI performance. Not sure if RLHF is used to correct biases but will RLHF not introduce bias if humans are to rate the output of the AI model?

Also interesting how some AI models show ‘Emergence’ by learning skills that they were not supposed to through their programming. Maybe the AI that is developed so far, already has more capabilities waiting to be discovered?

It is surprising, sometimes, to think that the LLMs and some prediction models are based on neural networks that have limited explainability i.e., why an AI-based system arrived at a decision is difficult to explain.
