I’m still coming to terms with chemo for life. I think it’s going to be ok, but it’s leaving me feeling exhausted at the thought of being tethered to the hospital forever. It’s a new kind of grief to process but I’ll move through it. I have lots of support.

I need people to know that breast cancer lumps can be painful! It is not true that if it’s cancerous it doesn’t hurt. Please help me stop this dangerous falsehood. People dismiss their symptoms because medical professionals spew this garbage! This is how I ended up with stage 4

yep! And also - it's just incredibly difficult in a 1:1 therapy or coaching setting to gauge how accurate a client's description of conflict outside the session is, and the job is at the end of the day to look out for the client's interests.

Would love to see more of us queers develop a coherent politic around the marginalisation of kids and arguments for their liberation. We've ceded too much ground to the right (and their demonstrably false claims of wanting to protect children) on this topic.
