I understand why CrossFit wants the Games to continue: $$ & hoping this somehow morphs into a feel-good “coming together” story 🤮 I understand why lesser-known athletes are still competing: $$. Why are the other athletes still competing? CrossFit let a man die on live TV.

The CrossFit Games moving forward “in honor of Lazar” is crazy. In honor of the man you let die yesterday? They’re gonna celebrate this Games as a the community “coming together” They’re gonna rename the Spirit of the Games “in Lazar’s honor” and hope we all forget what we saw

Lazar Dukic is still on the CrossFit Games leaderboard. He’s in last place. He has 0 points. He’s listed as 38th place out of 38 in the swim event. His status was “withdrawn” up until 5 minutes ago. The lack of respect is unbelievable. #crossfitgames

Some CrossFit Games staff knew that there were reports of someone going under the water and not resurfacing. They allowed the race to continue. No search and rescue until after the race concluded. At that point it’s a body recovery only. #negligence #crossfitgames

CrossFit should be 100% focused on investigating and understanding how a competitor died in full view of spectators and lifeguards <40m from safety. The CrossFit Games should’ve been cancelled. Grieve together this weekend, but there shouldn’t be a competition.

The Fever offense is so hard to watch. No movement, motion, or fluidity. Still. Not sure how they watch film and still like this offensive gameplan.

The Fever offense is bizarre. Lots of standing around. They’re trying to get Clark coming off timed screens but they have no rhythm. No cutting, slashing, motion of any kind. Bad design.
