@SuperSisi After MK 11, it’s like it has been one pot hole after another for the franchise. I really hope they figure it out for all the fans including me. 🫶

When I heard that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa died today I instantly thought of this picture and I hope him and Trevor Goddard are now kicking it together in a better place! 🐉❤️

The news of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa passing away is hitting us MK fans hard! Not only was his performance as Shang Tsung iconic but by all accounts he was the warmest and nicest person you could ever hope to meet and he’ll live on forever through his legacy! 🐉❤️

@SuperSisi I think so! Once we hit the point of “ready player one” technology I think that’s when the gaming industry will REALLY change, but nothing could ever replace my love for The classics ❤️

So sad to hear Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa has passed away. He will forever be the definitive Shang Tsung. His 1995 performance didn’t just bring the character to life, it defined the character. Every version of Shang Tsung that came after, in the games and across the franchise, carries his fingerprints. His return and performance in MK11 Aftermath was one of the best moments in the entire series. It was a strong reminder that he truly was the definitive Shang Tsung for all time. His soul will remain present in the series forever. Rest in Peace, Cary Tagawa.
