@kylegawley “Back to Facebook and Google” this implies you think VC dollars and Google/fb revenue come out of the same pool. Is that how you think this works?
@kylegawley Depending on the industry, def 10-50% go right to "ads/marketing" but as long as you make more than you spend (not often), then it's OK. SaaS/enterprise 10% -> 50% for CPG/DTC would be the scale usually. This is why rev based financing is popular, dont sell equity for ads.
