Mississippi now has the highest COVID death rate in the U.S.—and one of the highest in the world. About 1 in every 326 Mississippi residents has died from the virus. bit.ly/3AukHKk
@kylegriffin1 Get the vaccine. It's not that bad. I was one that was fighting against it and I decided to go ahead and get it done. You just have a fever for two days and that's it. You're protected. I told the lady I felt foolish not getting it.
@kylegriffin1 The data reporting has clear flaws when you look at it. Add in the fact there’s co-morbidity in most cases and this has little credibility. Confirmation bias as usual.
@kylegriffin1 It’s pretty simple. The darkest red states (hotspots) correlate to the lightest green states (lowest vax rates). You can also see how the hotspots are affecting their neighboring states. From The NY Times Covid Tracking:
@kylegriffin1 @carol_eicher Like every plantation the ignorant and helpless sufferers the most. Mississippi always burning.
@kylegriffin1 I’m sure this correlates with the lack of critical thinking skills in the population. IMO, the public school system is lacking nationwide, especially in Mississippi. All graduates of a successful public school system should be able to see their way through anti-VAX propaganda.
@kylegriffin1 Why do they see this as NORMAL? What is wrong with everybody??
@kylegriffin1 @gailborges Poor With a total poverty rate of 19.6%, Mississippi's rate is far above the national average rate of 10.5%. Didn't approve Medicaid expansion expanding Medicaid would lead to 200,000 working poor having access to health care. Why don't they care? 38% of the population is black
@kylegriffin1 How much more death needs to occur for people to realize Covid must be taken seriously?Senseless deaths for too many Americans. 💔 #GetVaccinatedNow #WearAMask
