@DOmowale @rreed444 @marclamonthill @karenhunter @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio Understand what I said. Pan-Africanism is more than just an org in the minds of Black Americans. It's 40+ yrs of Pan-Africanist thought. Why do you think these young people who don't know anything about ADOS have such a visceral reaction when this type of stuff goes viral?
@Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @karenhunter @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio I understood what you said, but the fact is that Pan-African thought is not on the minds of the majority of Black Americans. That's precisely why content like this goes viral, but Pan-African content does not.
@LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @karenhunter @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio Yvette Carnell said that Pan-Africanism is dead back in 2018, so this further proves my point that ADOS is fighting Pan-Africanism because it's an easy target that requires no actual work.
@DOmowale @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @karenhunter @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio Exactly, the funeral for Pan Africanism will be in October 2024 in New Orleans. You aren't an American, that's why you said killing Pan Africanism doesn't require "actual work." Once again, it's better for you to stay in your lane, the Caribbean or wherever you're from.
@LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @karenhunter @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio I'm a Pan-Africanist, so the Pan-African movement is actually my lane. It's better for you to stay in your lane instead of trying to using Pan-Africanism to bolster your struggling movement.
@DOmowale @LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio I agree with @kzshabazz "Pan Africanism has never meant "go back to Africa". It means uniting Africans where they are and fighting western imperialism an white supremacy." Being in your PA lane means you would be fighting w/ADOS not against us.
@BlackCommunit16 @LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio @kzshabazz Yvette has spent the last several years criticizing Pan-Africanism and claiming the movement is dead. Why would Pan-Africanists want to fight with an org led by someone like that?
@DOmowale @LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio @kzshabazz Almost if not ALL of us that unite under ADOS today understands that In it's current form it is DE*D... A majority that identify as Pan Africanists today follow along the lines of a Queer Pan Africanism, not as in lgbtq way (I hear Queer Pan africanism is becoming a thing) but ..
@DOmowale @LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio @kzshabazz as in odd. You guys condemn us fighting to improve our conditions here and want us to just put Africa first ( whatever that means). That wasn't Pan Africanism in Dr. Amos Wilsons day (RIP).
@BlackCommunit16 @DOmowale @LucyBibb @Blackcapitalis @rreed444 @marclamonthill @AfricanaCarr @diprimaradio Yes, this a major misconception. In Los Angeles, PAs like me, have been fighting for African Americans even when most folks had retreated. My first action against police brutality for example was organized by PAs in 1997 when Tyisha Miller was murdered. We still fighting.
