This is exactly where things get interesting. AI models like Alphafold is starting to move from structure prediction -> clinical interpretation workflows. We’ve been building tooling around this space for variant interpretation + ACMG automation. Curious how labs will integrate these pipelines going forward helixagent.io
The dog cancer vaccine story going around is interesting, but it highlights a bigger pattern in biotech. Generating hypotheses is getting easier with tools like #alphafold and large models. The real bottleneck is still interpretation and validation. In genomics for example, labs can sequence quickly but variant interpretation and ACMG evidence review can still take hours per case. Fair point. A lot of people underestimate how much of the real work in this space is interpretation and validation, not just generating the data.
