Made a big boy purchase today… I changed my mom’s phone 🙂‍↔️ She’s the one who motivated me to go into tech. She bought my first laptop and paid for design course back in 2020. This is the first real thing I’m doing for her using money made from tech. Thank you web 3

Last year, I fired someone who was doing everything right. He hit every target, never missed deadlines, followed every process to perfection. On paper, he was the ideal employee, the type most companies would promote, not terminate. But he was destroying my team from the inside.

If everything truly happened as described, then I don’t believe this is enough reason to dissolve the marriage. Every relationship faces its own challenges, and sometimes emotions make people react in ways they later regret. But this particular situation still looks redeemable if both parties are willing to humble themselves and rebuild. As the man, it’s his duty to lead his home with wisdom and patience, not just authority. Leadership in marriage isn’t about control,it’s about creating a safe, healthy environment where love and respect can thrive. The mother-in-law’s attitude is unnecessary and immature; once a woman is married, her loyalty shifts to her husband and their home. A mother should advise, not manipulate. The wife also needs to take responsibility. Allowing her mother’s influence to dictate her marital decisions was unwise. It’s one thing to feel overwhelmed as a new mother, especially with grief from losing her father, but lying to her husband about her mother’s health was a very poor decision. Trust, once broken, takes time to rebuild. That being said, no marriage is without its rough seasons. Small lies, disagreements, and frustrations will happen. As long as there’s no infidelity, abuse, or constant disrespect, most issues can be worked through with maturity and communication. People need to stop running at the first sign of conflict. Marriage requires commitment, not convenience. The husband should stand firm and make it clear that his home won’t be run by outsiders. Boundaries must be established respectfully but firmly, both for the wife’s family and his own. If everyone knows their place, peace will follow. But he also has to remember that leadership doesn’t mean shouting or threatening; it means leading with calmness, example, and understanding. Another key area that can’t be ignored is intimacy. It’s alarming that a married couple has gone 14 months without physical closeness. That’s not normal. Emotional distance often grows when physical connection is lost. Intimacy is not just about sex,it’s about closeness, affection, and feeling desired. Many issues that look huge can sometimes be resolved in quiet moments of genuine intimacy and bonding. To anyone reading this who may be facing something similar, please understand that marriage is a continuous process of learning, forgiving, and growing together. Don’t let pride, third-party interference, or lack of communication destroy something that can still be repaired. Seek counseling if needed, pray together, talk openly, and remember that peace doesn’t just happen, it’s built, one decision at a time. In this case, I truly believe the marriage can still be saved, but only if both parties are willing to take responsibility, cut off external influence, and start rebuilding from a place of honesty and love.
