This is exactly the reason why i am building "padiplace". A house hunting platform where landlord upload house, people can find it, no agent in between wahala. Government Id verification added to avoid spam. Still currently in development but i hope to releease it by month-end

+ features * In app chat * Rating ; so people can know who they are dealing with at a glance Even though my main motive for building this is students agency fee for off campus at #unilorin is too high and unregulated, i plan for extend it to normal people usage

Middleware ( a Middle man between the server and incoming request, used to validate or perform some action before the request get to the bussiness logic, think of it like a general bouncer)

DB limitations ( postgres can allow Unique keys to be null but sql doesn't allow it though both are relational) I hit this prob when trying to create a field that must be unique but can be null, my development DB was sql and it kept raising error if i try to create a data row

Rate limiting(used to reduce the amount of request that can be made to an endpoint) Returns a 429 status code. Imagine an hacker tryinf mix of password, eventually he might hit the right one but with rate limiting, he will get a short ban.

-> Caching (a quick short term memory reducing constant database hit) Best used for a data that does not change frequently, imagining Whatsapp statu hitting the database constantly just to check "is this user online?" For a million user? Another database crime!!

Role validation ( who are you and what you can do) This checks for access attached to a user and help filter what user can do or returns a 403 status code if permission is denied. 401 status code if it does not even know who you are at all

...that will be a database crime, istead the products are send little by little , maybe 20 first snd when user scroll to a certain extent another 20 is fetched, this is how pagination works.
