The people of Portsmouth are not going to take being designated the new dumping ground for illegal migrants. When I was Southampton chairman, I was always extremely relieved to leave their stadium in one piece. Those lads, and girls, take absolutely zero bullshit, and if the Government thinks they can use their city to land these illegals, they are very much mistaken. Expect resistance.
