Therefore,for every 1 black person that is arrested, it would take 5 white ppl to for the *rate* to be equal, “per capita”. Now do you see how the “per capita” rate is misleading when you ignore population size?

There are nearly 5x more white people than black people (220M vs 45M). 2. 16% of 220M = 35M, 40% of 45M = 18M Based on *pure numbers*, nearly 2X more white ppl are on welfare than black ppl. 👀😬 it’s not the argument you think it is.
