never realized the effect of transitioning to an only child. the new sense of being alone. i always watch siblings in envy. like damn your sibling is your bestfriend. alive and healthy. when u have a human who backs u wholeheartedly. no hesitation. i miss that

had a dream from 6:59 till 7:28. huy was actually alive in my dream. i haven’t that happen in years. years. took me a sec toward the end to realize he’s suppose to be dead. crazy. last time i spoke to huy was 13 yrs ago today at 7:30am to wake him up for class.

i’m reliving it to make sure i’m doing right. reprocessing how much happened and remembering how i felt. this will break and heal me. even if i do all that i could & if it doesn’t go my way, i didn’t try hard enough and that’s on me.

Over four years ago, Brian protested with March For Our Lives to demand action on gun violence in our schools and communities. This week, he was shot in both hands and through his neck by an AR-15 at his school in St. Louis. He jumped out of a window to save his life.
