First OP Community Meetup in Thailand Enter to Start successfully hosted the first ever "Community Meetup: Optimism Opportunity" in Thailand, bringing together the leading figures in the Optimism community. The event featured a dynamic lineup of grant recipients, contributors, Discord mods, and Thailand’s first Badgeholders, who are instrumental in shaping the future of the Optimism projects by voting on grant allocations. The event started with a session by Rati (Au) @RATi_MOn, a seasoned software engineer and contributor to Optimism, who shared insights on Superchain and Opstack, and also discussed various Optimism Grant programs. Following him, Hanee Sleeper @0xthesleeper, an OP Ambassador and Thailand's inaugural Badge Holder recounted the evolution of the RetroPFG program, highlighting the challenges and developments of each iteration and hinting at a growing focus on development in the upcoming cycles. A highlight of the meetup was the Builder Panel, which showcased top Thai developers who have received grants from Optimism. The panel included Tang @v3eth, the highest recipient of RetroPFG 3 grants, alongside budding talents Billy @billy191 and Wit @witjarukit, and the prolific hackathon participant Chomtana @Chomtana, who shared their inspirations and experiences in the tech ecosystem. The final session of the day focused on the "RetroPGF4 Opportunity," where seasoned contributors such as Patrick @IndividuaUst, a prominent Discord mod for OP, Grapp @BoredTownNFT, a founding artist of Bored Town NFT, and England, a mod for over 15 projects, alongside Hanee, discussed the future opportunities within RetroPGF. They shared their personal motivations for engaging with the Optimism community and insights into successful grant applications. The consensus from the event was clear: genuine engagement and contribution to the community are far more rewarding than participating solely for potential airdrops. This inaugural meetup not only highlighted the vibrant potential of the Optimism ecosystem but also strengthened the community's commitment to collaborative growth and innovation. I was asked today about our plan to invest, especially in younger Canadians, and why those at the very top should pay their fair share — it’s so we can address the housing crisis. It’s a question of fairness for every generation.

We're providing relief for Manitoba homeowners with the new $1500 Homeowners Affordability Tax Credit. Our plan will save Manitobans money and make it easier to pay your mortgage or afford your first home. This, along with all the other measures announced in our budget, will put more money in the pockets of Manitobans.

Tuesday's federal budget will include a tax increase on the richest Canadians, sources tell Radio-Canada. Although the details are unknown, senior Liberal sources say that it will affect less than 1 per cent of Canadians. cbc.ca/news/politics/….

Even as they age, these familiar faces have decided to share their natural looks with us.

Why is your grocery bill so high?   To pay for Loblaw CEO’s $22 million paycheque. And hire lobbyists in high places - like Pierre Poilievre's Chief Strategist. With Pierre - you'll pay more and his friends will make more. loom.ly/bZ9cdMk

A Team Canada approach is how we’re going to ensure fairness for every generation. And a big part of that is working together to build more homes, faster, all across Canada.
