The sooner you realize that you cannot control other people, the easier your life becomes. You can’t force them to do what they don’t want to do. The only person you can control is you. So don’t let their behavior upset you. Take it in perspective. Don’t get hurt!
@947 @AneleAndTheClub I don't have a problem with sharing my name with someone but she must be deserving of owning it, I take pride in my name and I like being proud of pointing at who shares the same name with me. 😊
Little things that make me proud to be a mother m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…
Remember, no one owes you anything. Your responsibilities are yours alone. Don’t expect anything from anyone. That way, you won’t be disappointed or begrudge anyone. Free your heart from ill feelings towards others. Depend only on the Almighty. Indeed, He is sufficient for us!
Don’t keep bitterness in your heart. It will gnaw at your heart and wear you down. Let go of such feelings and move on. It’s easier said than done but you’ll be thankful you did. Because unforgiveness left in your heart will destroy you more than the person who hurt you!
Most ideas die from the overvaluation of negative feedback.
Criticize to uplift, not to destroy.
When things go wrong as they often do, learn to look for answers from within. The trouble is many will lash out at others and blame people around them. It’s easier to focus outward and get reactive. That’s unwise. Moreover, that seldom solves the problem and often makes it worse!
Don’t get involved in people’s drama & dysfunction. There’s a lot of that going on nowadays. As much as they try to engage you, take a step back. If they’re reasonable & open to discussion, you could try advising them. Else, stay clear or you could lose your peace altogether!
If you ever doubt that you’ll make it through your trials, look back and see how the Almighty has favoured you and blessed you with so much. Know that it didn’t happen by accident. He planned it meticulously for you. Don’t take it for granted. Thank Him for all the goodness.
One of the biggest problems we face in our lives today is distraction! There’s too much going on around us that it’s hard to stay focused. Everything screams for our attention. Don't waste time on anything that doesn't improve and enhance your life in any way. Stay vigilant!
Cut out gossip. Cut out backbiting. Cut out empty chatter and wasting time. Fix yourself first. Get busy with self-improvement. Work on being a better version of yourself. At the end of the day, it’s really me vs me. You’re accountable for your own actions. Nobody else’s!
@947BClub No I don't, I like being surprised and not knowing what to expect makes it fun especially if its the first time I go to that restaurant 😊
