@m_downey@ContraPoints He knows his comedy can hurt marginalized people, that’s why he cancelled himself when he realized it was hurting black folk. If his actual complaint was with white peoples using lgbtq activism to suddenly say famous black celebs are morally inferior, that would be fair.
@m_downey@ContraPoints It seems like he thinks being cancelled is stupid and knows it’s the wokescolds doing it but takes it out on the lgbtq people being advocated for rather than the Twitter mob.
@business_doug @VaushV More blatant misinterpretation, I said imagined motivations for Vaush’s behavior that you accused him of having, not you imagining that he said what he said. Seriously, it comes off as such bad faith when so blatantly misinterpret.
@business_doug @VaushV So you’re telling me Vaush openly said that someone hearing voices aren’t violent and dangerous, but could become so. And as a mental health worker you have an issue with that? Sound like he understood that hearing voices doesn’t inherently make someone dangerous.
@business_doug @VaushV By tweeting at Vaush and then when you get the attention you seek for advocacy and then being as bad faiths, dismissive, and then abdicate your advocacy.
@business_doug @VaushV If your refuse to articulate your argument, don’t try to put that on me with this “not my job to educate you” hand waving. You can advocate for the understanding and change you want in the world or you can sit on the sidelines. But don’t half ass it
@business_doug @zoobiewa@VaushV The world in which I’m defending ableism, and the world in which you are miss attributing ableism, may be indistinguishable to you. If you refuse to engage, neither I or you truely know which is fact. This very convenient for you the accuser, isn’t it?
@business_doug @VaushV The idea that after your consistent and unimaginable miss-interpretation od my statements, refusing to engage in hypotheticals, call yourself authority but in no way contributing to the discussion with said authority, and mindreading you call me bad faith may be actually insane.
@business_doug @VaushV If you think attacking someone on their motivations (which you just did) by claiming they might be influenced by something 50 percent of the world population regularly engages in is in anyway similar to a disorienting mental illness not endured by the average human than 🤷🏼♂️
@business_doug @VaushV I think being a mind reader and making an argument about what you imagine their intentions to be, is a very preposterous way of engaging in the world. Especially, when there is a stated explanation that also mechanistically operates with the other part of dialogue.
@zoobiewa @business_doug @VaushV Some would say painting your opposition as strong (like impactful with their ableism) and weak (like losing an argument) is an indicator of fascism.
@marcus96785434 @argacyan @LuaBorealis She advocating for talking not violence the same way Richard Spenser does.
If you condone forced deportation that you are advocating for genocide. Your complaint tells me is that you are too much of a coward to engage in valid hypothetical, where Prof Flowers was actually brave.
@Lil_MattyG7 @LuaBorealis You think colonialism happens because of race, and black crime is only statistically factual because he mentions it. Are you daft?
