Her TED talk was about how amazing it is that Wikipedia retains users' confidence even amid slipping trust in media. I posit, however, that users simply don't know how to research, don't know what good research looks like. They trust wiki because they know nothing else.

Sounds like she conflating ‘truth’ with ‘perception or reality’ — yes, ofc, every single person on Earth has a unique perception of the world and live in their own reality that no one else will ever experience. There are things like “belief systems” but they shouldn’t be confused with absolute truths. You can believe the Earth is flat all you want, but…
