A gathering of white people on colonized land watching a wave approaching that has the power to take them out and not moving until it is too late, is the perfect metaphor for climate change
Don’t be like the people waiting for the wave to hit. I just launched @hyphanetwork to give everyone an easy way to support climate solutions. Check it out here hypha.network
@lifesupremacist I thought you were going to say “a gathering of white people is called a klan.” I would’ve accepted that.
@lifesupremacist Accurate. Zero self preservation for individuals whose societal construct was set up to preserve it *for* them.
@lifesupremacist Honest question: if they are all only visiting for the wedding and have no plans to stay is that still colonization? Like is tourism actually a form of colonization?
@lifesupremacist There are so many days I'm embarrassed to be mostly white.
@lifesupremacist First of all, the bride & groom are Hawaiian residents, not tourists. Secondly, the waves were the result of a tropical storm. This story is not political.
@lifesupremacist ...you're typing on colonized silicone, colonized aluminum, colonized copper. #BoycottColonizedMatter
@lifesupremacist An insignificant black man lecturing us using woke language talking points is the perfect example of virtue signalling.
@lifesupremacist May I ask that you do not use the phrase climate change? This is a climate crisis or a climate emergency. We must call it what it is. After all we are told change is good, change always happens and so on. Nope. This is a crisis.
