A lot happened. We managed to overtake Agoria somewhere in the afternoon. But that wasn’t everything ! #SasolSolarChallenge Photo @Lightatwork

Another successful day for the team! We completed the main route and extended the blind stage. We can also start first on the grid tomorrow because we finished first. #SasolSolarChallenge Photo by @Lightatwork

Also, we again had many spectators during the control stop. It is so amazing to see such great interest in our car, and to show them what’s all possible with solar power! #SasolSolarChallenge Photo by @Lightatwork

The last 3 minutes of the day. We needed to drive through the mountains on our way to the finish. This is very demanding for the old motor we drive on. (Press release 8-09-‘22) brunelsolarteam.com/media/press/a-… #SasolSolarChallenge Photo @Lightatwork

We finished the Marathon stage! Last night, only three of us were permitted to be near Nuna. That meant they had to efficiently work together to get Nuna ready for today. Everyone demonstrated excellent team spirit! #Nuna11s #SasolSolarChallenge #SouthAfrica Photo: @lightatwork.

We’re currently driving to the end of day. On slower speeds Nuna uses less energy. So we take our time to precisely be at the finish of day 2 at 17:00. #SasolSolarChallenge Photo by @Lightatwork

Meanwhile our team assists at the toll gates, this way Nuna will smoothly pass the gate. Operations are going strong! Photo by @Lightatwork #SasolSolarChallenge

Nuna GO, GO, GO! We are off! We started in pole position at the carnival city casino, we will be driving to Kroonstad today. After the start Agoria quickly overtook us, so we are currently in second place. 📸@lightatwork #SasolSolarChallenge #Nuna11s #SouthAfrica #SolarCars

The time is flying by. Nuna has already passed through several stations. This includes the weigh station. We have the lightest car on the track by far! 130kg. This is cause for celebration! #SasolSolarChallenge Images by: @Lightatwork

The sun is getting a little bit shy. Hopefully the power of the sun is still enough to break the record. Current distance is 656 kilometer and the timer is passing the 8,5 hours. ☀️ @Lightatwork
