In August, we welcomed 42 new people to the Garden House. Since the start of April, there's been 187 new presentations of homelessness which equates to over 1 new person a day. Thanks to everyone who supports us in our work. 💛 #Homelessness #Peterborough #RoughSleeping
A big thank you to Woodstone Fire Limited who have been doing a wonderful job on our outdoor kitchen in the new Community Garden. Jacob & Gary popped down last week & we can't wait to start turning the space into a functioning cooking area for our guests & wider community to use.
We are looking for keen crafters to help us in our Christmas Hearts Campaign. 🎄♥ The vision is to have 1000 hearts to be given out on the streets of Peterborough at Christmas. If you would like to help us out, please contact Julie [email protected].
By working with @PeterboroughCC's Rough Sleeper Outreach Team, we were able to help 51 people to move off the streets and into accommodation during August. 🙏💛 This is the 4th highest total for a month period this year! #Accommodation #RoughSleeping #Homelessness #Peterborough

In August, we welcomed 246 people to the Garden House and gave them the support and advice needed. Altogether, over 1,700 visits were made. The last time we had higher totals for a month period than this, was back in March. #Homelessness #Peterborough #Charity
Gill, a Garden House volunteer & LPP Ambassador, is a keen walker & does long hikes every year. This year, she decided to raise funds for us, but being a member of @SIPeterborough, Gill particularly wanted to support the work our Street Chaplains do for women in the city. 💛
A big thank you to our Peer Advocacy Co-Ordinator Graham, who organised a Yard Sale in Thorney yesterday where households sold their unwanted items with donations from sales going towards LPP. Graham's target was £200 but he has raised over £300! 👏💛 justgiving.com/page/thorney-y…

In July, we welcomed 35 people to the Garden House for the first time. Since April, there's been 145 new #homeless presentations which means on average, there's at least one new person coming through our doors everyday. Let's continue supporting each person who are in need. 🙏

Today, we took the Health Outreach Bus to Eastfield Road guest house to provide support to those living there. We were joined by @PeterboroughCC, @BoroughburyGP and @CPFT_NHS's Dual Diagnosis Outreach Team. 🏠👩🏻⚕️🧠 Another great example of partnership working! 😀
Last month, we supported 37 people to move off the streets & into accommodation. In the hot weather, it's been even more important to provide shelter for people sleeping rough. We also facilitated 59 engagements between @PeterboroughCC 's Rough Sleeper Outreach Team & our guests.
Graham has become our new Homeless Health Peer Advocacy Co-Ordinator. 😀
We're welcoming Amy from @peterboroughcab to the Garden House every week! She’ll be here to offer one-to-one appointments for our guests to provide advice and support regarding benefits, finding work, debt & money management, advice with law and courts, immigration, etc.😀
