Small teams are fragile. One unresolved disagreement can become the whole strategy and your product ends up reflecting the compromise no one had energy to fight.
Product teams love fixing the wrong problem. Client: "our paywall sucks, that's why we are not making money, fix it". Reality: funnel shows people were quitting way before paywall. The product just wasn't worth buying. You can't polish shit into gold.
How did you overcome anxiety (or rather perfectionism) of sharing your learnings on X while building in public?
There's always this moment when teams forget that "doing more" isn’t the same as "going deeper". Like yeah, shipping 5 features sounds exciting, but if none of them touch the core user pain, what are we really doing?
If a feature needs a tutorial, the product still has homework.
Lots of products start as a projection of the founder's needs, desires, or frustrations. Building to "prove something" creates features that feed ego, not users. So the question is - are you really solving their problems or yours?
