@littmath Would have no problem with it if it was taught in the anthropology department.
It contaminates the intellectual environment with people who don't care about truth and ideas that are optimized for making people feel good rather than being true. It's kind of like how a few bad hires can ruin a company because they will start hiring their more low quality people and they'll push the high quality people out and plunder the stock of capital and reputation of the company.
