I think we’ve been overestimating AI agents. Give an agent a complex task and it can reason through it. But ask it what’s happening on X right now, what products are trending, what people are searching for, or what’s moving in the market… And suddenly it’s blind. That’s what I found interesting about AgentKey (@agentkeyapp). It gives agents access to real-time data across search, social media, finance, e-commerce and more, without having to connect a bunch of different APIs manually. I can basically ask my agent: “Find what’s trending in AI on social media right now, compare the engagement and extract the patterns behind the best-performing posts.” And instead of telling me where I should look, it can actually retrieve the data and work with it. It works with Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw and Windsurf. Installation is basically one command. No juggling multiple API keys. No separate subscriptions for every data source. No manually switching between providers. AgentKey handles the routing and can automatically switch between data sources depending on what the agent needs. For me, this is the important shift: AI agents are already good at reasoning. Now they need reliable access to the outside world. And apparently I’m not the only one paying attention: AgentKey recently reached #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
