Was this "good" by any pre-2016 standard? No, but I enjoyed it because it wasn't horror, wasn't funny, wasn't long, attempted to depict what the world looks like now (bombed out JC Penney's), had a beginning, middle, and end, and moved forward in a remotely competent way like a distant echo of the 90s when the Hollywood assembly line still worked and even "bad" movies were designed to be entertaining
@NBA_head_ It's true! This is how bad it is now. If a movie takes place in the real world, doesn't turn into a Brandon Cronenberg body horror psychedelic montage, mercifully doesn't attempt be funny, has a basic plot structure, and isn't 3 hrs long there's maybe something to enjoy
@lotus__point @NBA_head_ it actually was funny at times. the winter wonderland golf course scene was pretty damn funny
