Are these IDF rules of engagement? If they think there is an armed person on a deconflicted humanitarian convoy, they take three strikes to kill everyone in the convoy?

@lrozen Even if you accept this version of events it would not legally justify the IDF attack.
@lrozen there's been a very consistent pattern of stories where its becoming clear that: - traditional careful targeting procedures are maintained - but >= 1 'confirmed' 'hamas' (gun, in the wrong place, near reports of shooting) means you can go for it ex. bombing UN aid in south
@lrozen It seems perfectly congruous with their approach so far in the war. Whether explicit rules of engagement or not, they attack without concern for any other lives if they think it will kill even one Hamas combatant.
@lrozen It must be presumed that three individual strikes on clearly identified aid vehicles were a deliberate command decision—and not the first monstrous attack, either.
@lrozen If those are the rules, they are grossly inadequate and need to be tightened. You definitely need at least two independent sources of intelligence before any attack.
