“Never sell your Bitcoin” is one of the stupidest takes out there. Every time you spend money, you are selling your opportunity to own BTC. It doesn’t matter what form of money you spend. In that sense, every time you spend your money, you are selling BTC.

Bitcoin emerged organically. So did the term satoshi (sat) for the smallest unit. There was no BIP needed to establish the definition of a sat, and a BIP will not change it.

Paper bitcoin collapse due to rehypothecation will someday be the greatest blackswan event in bitcoin history. There is no Fed to save that market b injecting bitcoin for liquidity. Paper bitcoin will go to 0 and self custody bitcoin will go to infinity.

My Take: We can't assume which TXs are not monetary—there’s no such thing as spam, only valid TXs. Blockspace belongs to everyone. Influence via "Bitcoin culture" to censor "spam" shouldn't guide consensus. Current filters are fine—change things only in emergencies.

Bitcoin conceptually cannot fail bc it is fulfilling the purpose for which it was created, whatever that may be. Due to the nature of the system, no one can unilaterally decide a "purpose" for bitcoin, only individually. So it can only "fail" in your terms not on anyone elses.
