Argh. I did it again. I set up language exchange so I could practice German and then I just let the other person practice English the whole time. I didn’t speak a word of German. She didn’t invite a change, though. I’m disappointed in myself. ITalki is better for me.

I really enjoyed this challenge. You can set your own number of hours if 40 is too many and even that helps you work harder and be more consistent.

Yay!! I Met my goal of studying German for 14 hours this week. I actually did 14.5. Thank you @LanguageComeUp for organizing the #40h7dlc. I hope to do it again next time and maybe make it to 20 hours!!! #langtwt.

I am Doing the #40h7dlc led by @LanguageComeUp. The goal is to study 40 hours in 7 days. I have set my goal a little lower- 14 hours in 7 days. Yesterday I did: 🇩🇪 3 hours 🇫🇷 30 minutes of French. Week total: 5.5 hours.

I actually have anxiety about cooking from so many failed attempts. I need to start eating better and feeding my family better. It is crazy how anxious I get about it. Argh. I need to find some simple meals. Any ideas? I mean REALLY simple. Like bachelor chow!

Things we understand as Spanish learners: 1. There aren't always enough practice opportunities 2. Speaking with strangers can be scary. 3. We sometimes question our abilities. 4. We thought it would be easier. 5. Motivation may waver. 6. Every step forward is a win.

I’m really discouraged with my B2 slump in German. My usual mistakes seem cemented and to never improve. I have the urge to switch back to Spanish, which is also more useful for me. But I know I’m just giving up. Argh! #langtwit
