There hasn't been a consultation with any of the brokers to the best of my knowledge yet. SEBI always consults the industry players before big regulatory changes. All this reporting based on "sources" without basic verification is not good journalism.

Governments should do more stringent scrutiny on the Govt associates assets and confiscate everything that were acquired by illegal means. That is the only way to stop corruption and grow faster on the economy level. Wish it happens or starts before 2028 !

I was a MF investor for 7+ years, did SIPs & lumpsums. Most funds underperformed Nifty. Even if I had just bought Nifty50 stocks or spent 4 hrs/week doing basic analysis, returns would’ve been better. I exited most holdings around Nifty 24,700 & shifted partly to US stocks.…
