I don’t really care if Elizabeth Holmes felt sad when she saw Amanda Seyfried’s portrayal of her

I think Nathan Fielder did a really good job with You Can See Everything. Especially in showing how unwilling Amanda Seyfried was to acknowledge her own role in potentially harming another person. He had everyone looking at one another and questioning everyone else’s intentions,

cat laziness is so contagious. you'll see your cat flopped on its back in your bed a completely comfy cozy baby and you'll be like. you're right. you make a compelling argument.

*Warning-Language* This is only shocking to those who don’t work in an elementary school. When teachers tell you it’s bad… this is what they mean. The reason this is so shocking to the rest of the world is that teachers aren’t allowed to video their students and post it online (which is fine and correct, but that’s the reason it’s so shocking to those outside of education). Now, shooting a teacher is not common by any means especially in a kindergarten classroom. However the language… I have personally heard students speak like that in my own teaching experience, not to mention, but to other teachers in my building. It’s not so common that it’s every year, but it’s common enough that an elementary school might have 1 or 2 students that speak like this even in kindergarten. The teacher’s actions and responses are not surprising at all. I guarantee a kindergarten student that talks like this isn’t out of school suspended (most of the time), or expelled. FAPE steps in and protects them. Most likely they’re put on a behavior IEP, which pretty much guarantees nothing meaningful will be done, and their classmates learn to put up with it throughout the years. There needs to be major changes made to schools. I’m sure I’ll get torn up for saying this but, students that speak and act like this need to be separated from the Gen Ed classroom. I’m sure this student was removed because of the shooting, but should it really take that to get a student out of Gen Ed?

Also most of the research about why it’s bad to hold kids back is based on if these kids go to college or not… in a lot of cases where kids are held back they likely aren’t going to college anyway? Just is a backwards way to decide “holding kids back doesn’t work”
