@EBasilion Tipping has also become a means to an end Most places it is used to compensate for poor wages There is no separation between fast causal, quick service and fine dining However, you’d be surprised how many people go to fine dining to flex and social media presence Then tip 5%

There is a difference between an order taker and server A server guides their guests on an experience… - Offers insight - Navigates conservations - Detailed execution - Ensures exceptional outcomes - Never underestimates the guest’s value - Sells effortlessly

Bonus… Always let them sample or try items that allow This allows guests to make educated and/or emotion based choices Minimally, it will provide them with options to try on their next time aka REPEAT CUSTOMERS

1st Time Guest - Why are they visiting or what drew them here? (Build rapport and connections) - What is their understanding of menu items? (Tells you how detailed you have to be) - What do they normally like? (What can you offer that you know they’ll like)

Repeat vs 1st Time Guest Understanding the guest’s experience is the first part of building trust with your guest. Here are (3) questions you can ask guests to understand how you can not only ensure better service but experience

You are leaving money on the table, if you even get them in with your reviews 15% of ALL businesses respond to reviews That is a big margin to stand out!

One aspect of the hospitality industry is the exercise… 10,000 steps = 5 miles Most people hit that before 8pm on any given night

Obviously dealing with someone else in the party is always easier However, in a state of intoxication Being the friend, rather than an authority figure produces better results

Along with being challenged… It poses the question in a way that most people do not ask. Most of the time intoxicated people are told to “sit down”, “give me your keys”, etc They also realize that if you are “right”, there are consequences coming

Dealing with an intoxicated guest that insists on driving? “I’mm ffffine, I can drivve” The easiest way to get them to listen is asking this simple question… “I know you think you are right, but would you allow me to be wrong?” No drunk person ever turns down a challenge!

Restaurants and Bars operate with minimal room for error. Undervaluing your reviews will not only cost you money but leave money on the table! Do your part in ensuring you not only offer a good product and hospitality inside your establishment…. But outside of it as well!

When it comes to individual reviews of menu items… (1) review can increase conversions by 10% (100) reviews can increase conversions by 30%+

How much are your restaurants or bars reviews worth? Online reviews are the life blood of an establishment If you disagree, you need to understand the affect reviews have not only to your business but to the customers…
