@jasminericegirl @Delta I'm pretty sure this is covered. "All damages must be evaluated in person by a Delta representative at the baggage service office. A Delta representative will direct you to fill out a damaged bag form if needed. You must report your claim within 24 hours for travel in the U.S."

@jasminericegirl @Delta The airline is not responsible for that, they don't have any crew members handling baggage. All this is handled by the airport staff and they are responsible for damages, this is why we pay a fee for the use of the airport.
