16 clicks (plus standard 3D secure auth stuff) to pay from a @NewhamCouncil email asking for £££ . Half were a menu icon to get a menu and then click “View payment details” (first time you see that you owe money) or “Complete payment”. I feel sorry for them, so much tech debt

American friends who missed this, please read edition.cnn.com/2024/04/10/opi… and think regret minimisation. Which world is more worrying? Russia takes Uraine, with notes taken by China + nations now considering aquiring nukes? Or Russia can't take Ukraine because the US donated weapons?

Listening to Any Questions... pointless discussing how to run water services based on gross misunderstanding. 1. Investment is capped low by the regularor because yesteryear's complaints were about water bills. 2. The state doesn't take on the debt if taking over a failed utility

Trump indictment... Mind blown. Likely defence: every electoral official, every judge, and most of my lawyers & appointees said I lost but I lack mental capacity to see that (daddy issues). I WON. No intent, no crime. May even be true. If only we disbarred such insane candidates.

Chutzpah: the ability to plea for clemency due to being an orphan... after having for murdered your parents (Paranoia RPG reference). Or promising a country you won't invade if they give up nukes, and then when they do... you invade with the justification that they may get Nukes

You know, the UK speed awareness course (fyi 47mph at the point a 60mph zone dropped to 40mph) is actually pretty good. Fave fact: if two cars going 30mph and 31mph break the same way at the same place, the 31mph car will still be doing 8mph at the spot where the 30mph car stops.
