Surprised that Apple news outlets are picking up this story while knowing - and even acknowledging - the source of this simply makes things up (not a figure of speech either - genuinely fraudulent).
@markgurman Um you’ve been saying “New iPads this week” for about 8 weeks
@markgurman So basically they are not Mac Observers. 🤔
@markgurman It’s probably more about the news being so absurdly dry. They’ll run anything at this point
@markgurman For what it's worth, I agree and I refuse to write about LeaksApplePro.
@markgurman I was think about this earlier this morning while reading the qualifiers in each piece. This is the price we pay for a click driven media. No one wants to lose clicks to the other guys despite the “news” likely being fake. So they “have to” go ahead and publish a story anyway.
@markgurman It's what happens when you have a Brand that creates Clicks and Views that Apple does, Everyone is scrambling to take advantage of it.
@markgurman Any news is news I guess these days. I would also assume it’s possible to happen though and should in 2024
@markgurman yeah, usually these apple related news sites just rip off your revelations
