🚨 COLLEGE SOCCER TRUTH: THE RECRUITING SERVICE SCAM? 🚨 College coaches recruit players, not from recruiting service subscriptions or from recruiting “agencies”. A recruiting service cannot magically make your player faster, more technical, more athletic, or good enough for a level they aren’t ready to play. They can’t guarantee an offer. They can’t force a coach to watch film. They can’t make a college coach want a player who doesn’t fit their needs. What can recruits do themselves? ⚽ Build a quality highlight video. 📧 Email coaches directly and personally. 🎓 Research schools that fit academically, athletically, and financially. 📱 Follow up consistently and professionally. 💪 Develop the qualities college coaches actually evaluate. 🏟️ Attend the right showcases and ID camps. And here’s the part some people won’t like: If a player isn’t getting recruited, the answer isn’t automatically to pay someone to market them. Sometimes the player needs better exposure. Sometimes the target schools are unrealistic. Sometimes the level simply isn’t a fit yet. Parents, stop buying the promise of a shortcut. There isn’t one. The best recruiting service in the world cannot replace ability, realistic school selection, direct communication, and hard work. Your money doesn’t make your player recruitable. Your player’s ability, fit, and effort do. Don’t let SLIMY USA recruiting agencies trick you into thinking the American 🇺🇸 club a soccer player they claim they got committed was something they did. No it was their club coach, their own effort, ability, and exposure to college coaches. Save your money and use it to be seen in person! #CSTruth

Have faith in the process, but don't confuse faith with sitting still. Recruiting can test your patience. You watch teammates commit, see other players announce offers, and start wondering if your opportunity is ever going to come. Here's the truth: Someone else's commitment does not mean your opportunity is gone. Keep working. Keep reaching out to coaches. Keep improving your game. Keep exploring schools you may not have considered before. Faith means believing there is a path forward, even when you can't see the finish line. But faith without action is just wishful thinking. You may not control when a coach calls, when an offer comes, or which doors open. You do control your preparation, your attitude, your effort, and how many opportunities you pursue. Trust God with the timing. Take responsibility for the work. And don't let someone else's timeline destroy your confidence. Your journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's to be successful. Stay faithful. Stay hungry. Stay realistic. Keep going. #CSTruth

They document the process, but they are not detailing the actual messy results of moving a satellite. They don't just move it and immediately snap it back to avoid debris. You're confusing the fact that the thruster is small with the maneuver having small consequences. In geosynch orbit, you can do tiny station-keeping burns because the environment is stable. But in low earth orbit where starlink is, physics doesn't allow a simple 'sidestep.' Because Starlink travels at 17,000 mph, firing an ion engine to clear debris requires hours of continuous thrusting that completely alters its orbital energy, period, and altitude. This has massive implications: the satellite spends days completely out of its assigned parameters and has to execute a second major burn sequence just to recover its original slot. Technically you are right that they avoid the debris, but the satellite is nowhere near its original orbit while doing it.

@cole_weedon @Themadhushaw01 @yatharthmann You can do station keeping in geosynchronous orbit but that’s it. Any lower orbit any movement will have massive implications.

@cole_weedon @Themadhushaw01 @yatharthmann No they don’t. I work in satellite operations … you don’t avoid debris with micro maneuvers…orbital mechanics is in play.

@Themadhushaw01 @yatharthmann Maneuver in orbit to avoid obstacles? Did you really just post that? You watch too many movies.

“Everybody knows who the leaders are.” Curt Cignetti said he has never voted for captains. The longer I coached, the more I understood exactly what he meant. Some years we had captains. Some years we didn’t. We selected them differently depending on the team. But I also saw choosing captains create more problems than it solved. So when coaches would ask me, “What if we pick the wrong captains?” My answer became pretty simple: Then don’t pick them. Develop ALL of your leaders. Build collective leadership. Give kids opportunities to lead without needing a title. Because Cignetti is right. Your players know who the leaders are. Your coaches know. Your locker room knows. Leadership rises to the top. You don’t need a “C” on your chest to lead. And giving someone the title of captain doesn’t suddenly make them a leader. Sometimes it just gives the wrong person more influence. That can be dangerous. Develop everyone as leaders. Then let leadership emerge. 🔥 x.com/Hoosier_Review…

Unpopular opinion…score the damn touchdown instead of sliding before the end zone to run out the clock. You know what else runs out the clock? Being two possessions ahead in the score with minimal time left.

Geno Auriemma shares how he explains success to his players and why showing up isn't enough. "If you go to class and you do average work, you're gonna get a C. That's why it's called average." "If you want a B, you have to do more work. If you want an A, you have to do even more work and you have to give up stuff." You get what you earn in life. "You have to sacrifice. Maybe you can't do all the things that everybody else does." It means if you want more then you have to be willing to do more. "If you're just happy getting Bs all your life, there's nothing wrong with that either. But you're never gonna get the satisfaction of what it feels like to get an A." Then he connected it to basketball: "If you just wanna be average, then you do average work. If you wanna be a little bit above average then you do a little more work." "If you wanna get As in basketball, then you gotta do stuff that other people aren't willing to do - especially if you have the talent like we do. We have talent." It means bring a mindset of excellence to everything that you do. Excellence isn't the goal - it's the standard you set. Then he called out the entitlement problem: "Some of these younger guys coming out of high school, man, they wanna show up and go, 'I'm here. Where's my 3.7?'" "Like my father used to say, 'I got your 3.7 right here.'" Showing up doesn't earn you anything. Doing the work does. You get the grade you earn - in school, in basketball, and in life. It's easy to be average...successful people look to compete in everything they do. (🎥UCTV Sports )

Why some former players are not good youth coaches? ▪️Playing is about maximizing one’s own potential. Self-centric. ▪️Coaching is about guiding another to their potential. Service- oriented. ✔️Becoming a teacher requires more than just domain knowledge. #TOVO

You really need to stop posting this shit. Either you're too stupid to understand how social security works, or you think Americans are. That billionaire who only pays into SS on the first 184k only gets distribution based on the contribution. Eliminating the cap on contribution will also Eliminate the cap on distribution. Effectively changing nothing. You really are one of the most detestable members of congress we have.

@TheOutsideBlitz So the def can lower and launch himself from 6 feet away but can’t avoid the QB when he knows player is down soon as knee hits ground and if fake slide it’s a penalty and down immediately?

When the game starts, you need to believe you’re the best player on the field. When the game ends, you need to work like you’re the worst player on the team. That’s the balance... Confidence to compete Humility to improve Walk into competition expecting to dominate... Walk into practice like your job is on the line. The best players never let confidence turn into comfort.

PLAYERS: Nobody is entitled to playing time. It is earned during your training and practice sessions. Those sessions start now.

Be a leader, not a follower. Don’t be afraid to go against the grain. Always choose the right path in life, no matter how unpopular it is.

Nine times out of ten, it is your mind, not your body, that limits you in games. With mental toughness, you can overcome almost any obstacle and reach peak performance!

“Can you accept your role?” “Can you make yourself as selfless as possible?” Two questions that define a great teammate. Two questions that define a successful team. 1. Know your role. 2. Accept your role. 3. Thrive in your role.

RESPONDING TO MISTAKES "I'm letting the team down because I turned the ball over ... missed a shot ... blew a defensive assignment. No, you're letting the team down when it parlays into 4 or 5 possessions after that. Pick yourself up... You're playing a game that's imperfect."
