@KKurzNHL Is 16 taken? He wore that for team USA a few times. Funny enough when I handed him my USA jeresey he signed it with the number 16.

@wyshynski The biggest fallacy in sports is that everything is skill and luck isn’t involved. Most games are won on a combination of skill, strategy, and luck. The speed and ice make hockey even more prone to luck. If one is looking for a sport less prone, try bowling, golf, darts....(yawn)

@wyshynski We as hockey fans need to come to terms that the game is the least precise and subject to more error than other sports - as telling by language like “bad bounces” and “hockey gods”. We need to be fine that winning teams are a combo of being good and lucky.

@wyshynski @SanJoseSharks Greg, I’ve followed your writing for years and this is one your best. Thank you for sharing and shedding light on such an amazing player.

@wyshynski My wife: “they can’t kick it in, but it can bounce off their chest and it’s a goal? That’s arbitrary body part discrimination”

@Bischoff_Tyler @Sheng_Peng This is the most sensible take on last night. It was a bad call AND an epic comeback. Both can be true. Sharks probably don’t win the series without the call, but it didn’t guarantee the win either. If you can’t deal with this kind of logic, you probably shouldn’t follow hockey.
