who called it deconstructing your faith and not being dishonorably discharged from the lord’s army
@masonmennenga Deconstruction of one’s Christianity is reconsidering the faith without using or considering Scripture as a standard. Reformation is the process of correcting mistaken beliefs and correcting them to align with Scripture.
@masonmennenga Gotta admit: the Christian Soldiers VA sucks.
@masonmennenga I never got a chance to march in the infantry, ride in the cavalry, shoot the artillery, or fly over the enemy.
@masonmennenga It’s not a dishonorable discharge, it’s retreat, desertion. After so long, you become AWOL and your heart hardens. But I’m living proof God can soften it again. God doesn’t repent, we do. We can forfeit our place in the Kingdom, but He does NOT expel us and no one can pluck us.
Really all of 2 Peter 2 applies… 2 Peter 2:20-21 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
@masonmennenga This might be the funniest post about deconstruction I've ever read.
