On this day 24 Years ago, we beat Manchester City 4-0 at The Hawthorns. McInnes, a Clement brace and Dobie goal saw us thrash the Citizens who went on to win the Championship. We got promoted to the Premier League for the 1st time. #WBA

A solid 8/10 transfer window IMO. The defence is now packed with excellent additions, all of good ages and monetary value. Pity re Fellows but good business with Furlong, Heggem. Shifted Frabotta, Cole. Another winger was desirable. Hoping Dike, Bany can hack it. Squad refreshed.

We got rid of the deadwood & high earners. Lowered the average age of the squad & have signed some good Championship players with potential sell on value. This was always going to take a few transfer windows & we are in a much better position than we was imo. #wba

Nothing but respect for Heggebo today. The lad was getting manhandled & fouled all game & he never moaned, never gave up or sulked & just kept on working his arse off! Can't see him scoring freely but his hold up play is immense & he's a great addition to this squad. @WBA #wba
