I really like this @audible_com feature: the ability to change playback speed *just a little* (in increments of 0.05x). YouTube has a similar feature. I hope it will become standard across all apps and websites that play spoken audio.

New at the dance studio: Each week next month, students in the class I attend will have the option to stay afterward for social dancing. The idea is to take the moves we just learned as choreography and try improvising with them. I’m looking forward to it.

Feeling appreciation for a longtime friend of mine who isn’t on Twitter. Based on something I’d mentioned weeks ago, he had set a reminder to check up on me last night, and I needed it. He knew how to be supportive and thoughtfully critical at the same time. We talked for hours.
