Basically everyone is hoping that the Iranian government acts with more rationality and restraint than the Israeli government, is where we’re at right now.
@mattduss Nah, not for me. Iran funded Oct 7th my man. Keep folding yourself unto a pretzel
@mattduss Because everyone is afraid to expect anything from Israel.
@mattduss They have done for a very long time (unlike Israel they can’t afford not to).
@mattduss You’re really leaning hard on the hope that your Twitter audience has absolutely no idea about anything prior to the Israelis bombing those IRGC commanders last week.
@mattduss You do all understand how stupid this tweet looks now. Right? I hope everyone finally understands that this is exactly how uninformed every tweet of Matt's is.
@mattduss @MikePerryavatar And then they did, which really just shows how absolutely off the rails ethically and geopolitically demented the Israeli project has gotten.
@mattduss @AlecMacGillis This is a ridiculous statement. First, Zahedi was not in the embassy compound, and secondly, referring to his elimination as irrational is completely divorced from his impact and actions on the Israeli, Lebanese, and Syrian states. The escalation is due to Iranian belligerence.
