I did something last night that I have never done in my life. I was at a very nice restaurant. I ordered a steak medium rare. It came, and it was overcooked ( well done.) I sent it back, and they brought me another one. It was the worst quality steak I have ever had. About 90% tough fatty steak. I had one mouthful of edible meat. I called the manager and explained to him that I didn’t want to seem to be a problematic customer, but the steak was inedible ( it really was.) I told him I would still pay for it, but that he should check with the supplier as it was very bad. He insisted that they took it off the bill and offered us free desert, which we politely declined. Why is it that I still felt guilty for complaining?
@matthewdmarsden I need to know which city you had this.
