An Anthropic engineer glanced at my screen from the next table in a cafe in San Francisco. “You’re running Claude against live prediction markets?” I said yes. Then I showed him the terminal. 214 trades. 74% win rate. +$9,437 in 19 days. Here’s what the system actually does: I fed Claude two public repos and a full market archive — wallet entries, exits, sizing, timing, everything. Copytrade t.me/PolyGunSniperB… 500+ markets. No API key. No news feeds. Just a fast way to score who actually trades well. The model doesn’t try to predict the future. It tries to identify which wallets consistently extract value better than the crowd — then waits for the same structure to appear again. Core filter: captured value / expected value > 0.70 If a wallet wins often but gives back the move on exit, it gets ignored. If it cuts losers fast and captures most of the move, it becomes signal. Position sizing runs through Kelly: f^* = \frac{pb - q}{b} That’s what stops the system from full-porting weak edges. Most of the time it does nothing. No edge = no trade. Three positions from the run: > AMD Xilinx — entered 52c. Model priced 59c. Closed +7c in 2h40m. > Artemis launch — entered 63c. Model priced 85c. Closed +22c in 5h10m. > Derecho MW — entered 71c. Model priced 87c. Closed +16c in 1h50m. When he saw the repos and the live execution logs, he went quiet for a second. Then he said: “We tested something similar internally.” That was the funny part. The data is public. The repos are public. The market is public. But most prediction market traders still trade narratives, hold too long, and mistake conviction for edge. Prediction markets don’t reward the best story. They reward the cleaner exit.
