.@ABDanielleSmith is the snowpack that melts into the headwaters that become Southern ABs drinking water contaminated by coal mines? Apparently @Alberta_UCP knows, but won't release the data. What are you hiding? #ableg #abpoli #MountainsNotMines #yql lethbridgeherald.com/news/national-…
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP @Drew__Barnes @GlenMotz @sonyasavage Please break this down #medhat
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP The UCP's behaviour on the coal file is well documented. Its refusal to provide data on this concern is consistent with its ideology and agenda. We must do more than complain about the UCP if headwaters' integrity and recovery are the goals. #ableg

@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP In BC, mines are obligated to take responsibility for contamination. In the Elk Valley, they have had to foot the bill for 1 major water treatment plant and are in the works for another multi billion dollar facility. Others are using a saturated rock filtration process.
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP They're hiding extremely bad news.
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP Even if @ABDanielleSmith doesn't release the data, we all know it does. Anyone who has ever visited the glaciers in Alberta learns this.
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP Nothing to hide right
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP Don’t they HAVE to release public information if it’s requested?
@mcbeatke @BastsBest @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP Yikes, maybe BC should be more upfront, as the mines are theirs. No?
@mcbeatke @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP This is exactly why our banner stays up on our fence in Lethbridge.
@mcbeatke @gopherachers @ABDanielleSmith @Alberta_UCP It’s actually impossible for the water not to be incredibly acidic. Look at the path of the river systems. Highway 3 is a tour of coal legacy
